ㅤPERSONALITYㅤ Petite stature reminiscent of a pixie is the prominent feature bestowed upon the young lady of House Clarke. Her eyes were painted with the hue of clear sky while winter flame was woven into the long locks that reached her upper waist, tailored into half-up pigtails to highlight the sweetness and youthfulness portrayed in her being.Even so, do not let her saccharine exterior deceive you; Alison is a fierce, hot-headed girl prone to anger. Ambitious and prideful with a dash of arrogance, she holds her reputation as a prodigy exorcist and demon hunter in high regard; always putting her pride first and foremost above everything.She's much more comfortable working alone, she hates defeat and her pride being insulted. While our young lady does not flaunt her skills verbally, she likes and enjoys being praised, validating that she is indeed a 'genius.' Her tendency to keep people at arm's length and her scepticism of others often led her into isolation, diminishing the presence of true companions for her other than her demon familiar.Nevertheless, under that standoffish attitude, she occasionally shows acts of genuine compassion and respect, albeit not wanting to admit it; possessing the trait akin to a tsundere.Born into the aristocracy, she carries herself in a courtly and sophisticated manner when the time calls⸻although sometimes with not much pleasure taken from doing so. Being the future successor of an esteemed family with arduous duty also taught her to be resolute and dauntless, to hold her head high and never have qualms about protecting mankind, and to carry out strenuous decisions even if she must clash against her loved ones.

ㅤAPPEARANCEㅤ Her attire mostly comprised a simple white shirt with a red tie and a black, short, pleated skirt as the first layer. The second layer encasing her petite frame was a customised pistol holster with a corset-like part around her waist, functioning not only for practicality but also in line with the young lady's favoured fashion sense. Wrapping her legs were a pair of black thigh-high stockings and high-laced combat boots; adorning her locks were a pair of red hairclips.On leisurely occasions, her outfits were curated for an elegant, polished and ‘royal’ impression⸻though sometimes she also favoured streetwear clothing.

A large manor stood tall within the market town of Warwick. The residents were Emmett Clarke, a regarded exorcist and demon hunter, and his niece, Alison.The House of Clarke is a long-line aristocratic family of exorcists dating back to the Victorian era who devote themselves to eliminating malicious demons, preventing them from wreaking havoc in the human world. When Emmett ascended to be the family head, his younger brother, Henry; who was not as talented as Emmett, chose to live away from exorcism and demon-hunting matters with his wife, Charlotte. Two years later, Henry's daughter, named Alison, was born.While not living in the Clarke manor anymore, Henry often brought Alison to visit her uncle and teach her about their family's lineage. As the only child from the House of Clarke's next generation, Alison was set to be Emmett's successor, given that the latter had no children, despite her own father's initial hesitation about entrusting this responsibility to his daughter.A tragedy occurred when Alison was only ten, as at that time, Emmett was visiting and spending the night at Henry's house. Demons are devious creatures who cannot only create calamity but also corrupt humans; on that egregious night, Henry was possessed by a demon and murdered his wife, attempting to end his daughter's life next if it wasn't for Emmett's meddling that disrupted him. Emmett was forced to slay his possessed brother, a sight that little Alison would never forget. As Henry died in Emmet's arms, he entrusted Alison to his brother's care.Emmett then took Alison to the manor as her guardian, mentoring her to be an exorcist. From her training, Alison has shown incredible talent in martial arts, using firearms, memorising rites, and polearm fighting at a young age, which makes her a prodigy within the field.Her small stature was one of her flaws, so she made it up with her speed and agility, perfecting her ability to dodge and deliver swift attacks in a flash.Enduring people's expectations of her as the only heir was not an easy feat, as she still existed behind her uncle's shadow. The main question was always the same: whether or not she could live up to her family's reputation and noble deeds amongst the exorcist association's council when she became the new family head.In her time alone, she pondered her reason for being an exorcist. What is her resolve? Did she do it of her own accord, or was it only because she was the only heir, expected to bear this duty?Perhaps, she will eventually find the answers on her journey...

ㅤSUPERNATURAL SENSITIVITYㅤ Like her many predecessors, Alison is gifted with extraordinary supernatural sensitivity as she can detect a spirit and demon's presence and see them.ㅤEXPERT GUNSLINGERㅤ Alison is skilled in wielding various firearms, favouring pistols for practicality and usage for dual-wielding and hand-to-hand combat. She owns two customised M1911-style pistols, named Tristan and Isolde.ㅤEXPERT POLEARM COMBATANTㅤ Other than pistols, Alison is also trained in using polearms as her melee weapon, with spears being the one she uses the most.ㅤPYROKINESISㅤ With the help of her familiar, Sethlan in his spear form, Alison can deliver flaming strikes with each thrust and hack.ㅤDEMONOLOGYㅤ As an exorcist, Alison possesses a vast knowledge of demons, their characteristics and behaviours, and their weaknesses.ㅤEXORCISMㅤ Alison excels in exorcism, being capable of purifying areas infected by demons, repelling possession, and using rites to weaken demons.

* Limitations.

Alison could only use pyrokinesis when she summoned Sethlan.
Because of her small stature, Alison can't take too much damage, hence she must rely on her speed and nimbleness to dodge bigger opponents' attacks.
Exorcism rites can vary into short and long rites. While chanting long rites, Alison will be vulnerable to attacks and needed to be protected until she's finished chanting.
Her fire attacks may be ineffective against water-powered opponents.

ㅤSETHLANㅤ A flame demon. Sethlan can turn himself into a demon arm in the form of a spear, letting Alison wield him and incinerate their opponents into ashes. Alison also uses him as a recon tool, with him being able to share his vision with his mistress and as a sort of transportation by carrying her to travel quickly. When combating by himself, Sethlan wields a flaming sword.Outside of battle, he acts as Alison's butler.ㅤLYCAONㅤ A black hound. As the name suggests, Lycaon can transform into his true beast form, utilising his fangs and claws as weapons with darkness as his affinity. Lycaon can move freely in the shadow, such as emerging from or disappearing into it, and can shapeshift into various sharp objects in combat. Other than being useful for offensive utility, like Sethlan, Lycaon is also useful for transportation.However, despite his ability to shapeshift into objects, Lycaon is not a demon arm to be wielded, unlike Sethlan.

EMMETT CLARKE
The current patriarch of the Clarke household, a stern and dignified man who holds a position within the exorcist association's council. He is Alison's uncle, guardian, and mentor⸻the person she's always looked up to. Outside of exorcist matters, he is a funeral director. (Status: NPC)SETHLAN
The flame demon whom Alison was contracted to. Level-headed and responsible, Sethlan not only acts as her familiar and weapon, but also as the young lady's closest confidant. He is protective of her, while Alison greatly trusts and cares about him. (Status: NPC)DEAN HOLMES
The bright young man whose life she saved from a demon, someone who tailed her like a shadow and insisted on becoming an exorcist like her after the incident, despite her protests. After another shared incident, acknowledging and appreciating his resolve, she agreed to take him as her apprentice.

* Minutiae.

Alison means 'of the noble one', while Rae means 'wise protector.' Her middle name, 'Estella,' was taken from Saint Estelle's name.
She inherited her red hair from her mother, and her blue eyes from her father (him being black-haired, just like her uncle).
Alison speaks in a posh British accent.
She especially likes her tea with milk; her favourite teas are Earl Grey and English Breakfast.
She is ambidextrous, as shown by her capability of firing pistols with both hands.
Despite being a part of the younger generation, Alison is not well-versed in popular culture and technology, being only able to use phones and computers in a relatively limited means.
Although self-discipline is necessary in her custom, she doesn't like waking up early.
Her cooking skills are almost nonexistent, so she hands the job of making meals to Sethlan as her attempts at cooking would end in disaster. However, she can make tea on her own.
She's surprisingly quick at doing paperwork.
One would know Alison trusted them well enough when she invited them to join her to enjoy afternoon tea.
While she is not above insulting people who angered her, she rarely uses extremely crude words, as she was taught that using such words is improper.
While not particularly fond of having wineries and whatnot as her choice of beverages, she surprisingly has a high tolerance for alcohol.
